Some of the services rendered by the District Administration are as follows: a) Sanction of Old Age Pension b) Sanction of Family Pension to the Destitute Widows. c) Sanction of Family Pension to Deserted Wives d) Sanction of Family Pension to the Poor Agricultural Labourers e) Sanction of Family Pension to the Poor Agricultural Labourers. f) Financial Assistance in cases of Accidental Death of the Bread Winner of the Family. g) Financial Assistance in cases of death of Bread Winner of the Family engaged in 43 chosen professions.h) Issue of Certificates (prominent among which are the following):-  i) Community (ii) Nativity (iii) Legal Heirship (iv) Birth & Death Certificates in villages (v) Panchayats, etc.  (i) Patta transfer (j) Creation of new sub-divisions. (k) Assignment of Cultivable land. (l) Tenancy Law implementation. (m) Fair Rent fixation. (n) Issue of House site Pattas. (o) Distribution of ceiling surplus land (agricultural and urban).


Besides, for certain professions, Revenue Department issues licenses. They are:-  (a) N.O.C. for Cinema  (b) Pawn Broker's licence.  (c) Licence under Arms Act.  (d) Licence under Explosives Act,  etc. Besides the above, the Revenue Department registers you a voter, For the inclusion or deletion of names in the Voters' list, the Revenue Department renders you necessary services.  It also supplies you copies of Electoral Rolls, in case, you need, at a nominal price.  It conducts Elections to Parliament and Legislative Assembly. In times of Natural Calamities like Drought, Flood, Cyclone, fire, Revenue Department again rushes to your relief.  Revenue Department rushed to your rescue with the following Services:-Evacuation to safe places. Feeding you during the duration of the calamity. Similarly, 2nd Wednesday in the month is earmarked for District Administration Authorities to go to interior villages for receiving petitions from the Public and redressing them on the same day to the extent possible.


Assisting you with financial help in reconstruction of the damaged huts. Thus, the Revenue Department renders myriad services to you and to community at large a) Application in time. b) Application with all relevant supporting documents. c) Meeting the concerned officials directly for assistance. d) Refraining from approaching touts or other brokers for intercession. e) Not offering bribe or any other incentive to the official. f) Reporting to the higher officers when bribes are demanded.You may meet the Tahsildar, Revenue Divisional Officer, and Collector on any Monday.  All Mondays are entirely earmarked for serving you.  "Monday" in Revenue Department is known as "Public Grievance Day".  On that day, Public Grievances receive exclusive attention and overriding priority.


There is a Special Deputy Collector with a requisite complement of staff to attend to Public Grievances alone.  He is a full time officer for attending to public needs and grievances.
