• In Thanjavur District having 20 Town Panchayats are situated and all Town Panchayats  are  300 wards  included and Total Population is 2,77,424.
• Every Individual required 70 LPCD quantity of Water per day totally 19,259 MLD spend per    but out Town Panchayats has been supplied more than 70 LPCD.
• Now the combined water supply scheme implemented through the TWAD Board and  880 MLD water supplied.   In addition, to that the local sources of water supply is 20.991 MLD per day.
• Out of this, totally 26.871 MLD supplied through the 115 over head tanks and 6 GLSR tanks. Every Individual utilized 93 LPCD quantity of water supply per day.
• The Local Administration viz., Town Panchayats Administration launched several schemes implemented. Namely, KNMT,NNT,NSMT, TURIF, NABARD, O & M Gap Filling Scheme, Capital Grant Fund, Swacch Bharat Mission Scheme, AMRUT 2.0 scheme and Housing for all schemes are included.
• All the above Schemes the Town Panchayats Administration provided the Basic amenities for public such as  Water Supply, Road facilities, Park Development, Water bodies development, Construction of  Community Toilet, Public Toilet, Weekly market, bus stand, IHHL and construction of Houses for Homeless People.
• In Thanjavur District, Vallam and Orathanadu Town Panchayats having under ground Sewerage scheme. and successfully completed by TWAD.  Now connection work is going on and scheme.  Running in Good Condition.
